Smash Girls Academy Volleyball

WHEN:   Fridays (20 weeks) – From September 26 to April 10th

WHERE:  Training - Nora Frances Henderson S.S.
                Tournaments - Hillfield Strathallan College

• GIRLS in Grades 7 to 10 who are serious about volleyball and interested in improving their skills for their school teams or in the hopes of making a Rep team. 
• Multisport athletes who play another Rep sport and don’t have 2-3 nights a week for volleyball. 
• Athletes who tried out for a Rep team but didn’t make it. 
• Former Rep team athletes looking to stay involved in the sport. 
• Athletes who have participated in houseleague before but are ready to move beyond recreational programs.
• Athletes looking for more than gameplay.
• This program is NOT for beginners.

• 20 training and gameplay sessions from September to April
• 2 hours a week of Rep level skills training, technical development and team practice followed by 30 minutes of gameplay.
• Experienced Rep team and special guest coaches.
• Practice Shirts, Game Jersey, Backpack & Waterbottle. 
• Three (3) single day tournaments on weekends (Sat. or Sun.)
  • Tournament 1 – November 22 or 23
  • Tournament 2 – January 24
  • Tournament 3 – April 11 or 12 (Finale)
• Access to additional private and small group training at a discount
• Participation in club events and activities

• Limited availability of Rep team roster spots.
• Increasing cost of travel sports.
• Lack of programs between Houseleagues and Rep.
• Sign up for 1 program for the whole season.
